It happened today. I was a bit nervous, but not too much. I arrived at the studio right on time, but managed to go to the wrong door.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-ireflection.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2703 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-ireflection-271x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna ireflection\" width=\"271\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Joel set me straight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Joel-at-doorway.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2710 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Joel-at-doorway-248x300.jpg\" alt=\"Joel at doorway\" width=\"248\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got settled into the <em>sound booth<\/em>. Is it called that?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-with-headphones.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2706 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-with-headphones-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna with headphones\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And monkeyed around with the headphones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-with-headphones-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2705 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-with-headphones-3-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna with headphones 3\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Until they were just so (and my hair wasn&#8217;t too messed up!).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-and-Joel-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2699 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-and-Joel-2-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna and Joel 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Phil was the sound engineer (I really don&#8217;t know the appropriate lingo for any of this), but he was more like the Wizard behind the curtain, only he was sitting right there in the room with us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Phil-at-the-controls.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2753 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Phil-at-the-controls-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Phil at the controls\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At 9:00 am, the iconic sign went on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/On-Air.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2712 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/On-Air-300x189.jpg\" alt=\"On Air\" width=\"300\" height=\"189\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Joel made some art announcements for about five minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Joel-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2708 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Joel-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Joel 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And then it was my turn.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Microphone.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2711 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Microphone-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Microphone\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I must admit, it was kind of fun.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-and-Joel-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2701 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-and-Joel-4-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna and Joel 4\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is a<a title=\"KMUZ Interview With Dayna\" href=\"http:\/\/kmuz.org\/talking-about-art-04102015\/\" target=\"_blank\"> LINK<\/a> to the interview.<\/p>\n<p>Once you listen to the interview, you might be curious about the two pieces of art I mentioned. So I&#8217;ll go ahead and share them with you and do a little promotion for my upcoming show at <a title=\"Guardino Gallery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guardinogallery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guardino Gallery<\/a> in June. Here is the large 36&#215;48 inch piece that represents transformation. The title is <em><strong>Singed By Fire and Light<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-J.-Collins-Singed-By-Light-and-Fire.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2716 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-J.-Collins-Singed-By-Light-and-Fire-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna J. It is 10&#215;10 inches and is titled <em><strong>The Glow of Expectation.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-J.-Collins-The-Glow-of-Expectation.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-2717 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.daynajcollins.com\/curele\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dayna-J.-Collins-The-Glow-of-Expectation-300x297.jpg\" alt=\"Dayna J.
